IgroMir was held this weekend and with it some bad news. SC2 producer Chris Sigaty confirmed that we won’t be seeing beta until 2010. The Q2 release schedule remains unchanged, however.

Sad news but in a way, we are now much more certain of when it will be, and the actual game release doesn’t seem delayed by this. Wish we had some good news about the beta for once! I am sure Blizzard would liked to have released it and been making money on it already but this gives hope to just how good the product will be when they finally deem it ready for release.
