Default Wiki-Logging in/editing Problem

I went into the Wiki and looked around a bit and saw it was kinda, flat. I wanted to edit a page (specifically the micro page) and I couldn't because

1) I couldn't find the edit button (it is a Wiki right?)
2) I couldn't even log into the Wiki, nor find any area to register. /edit1: I did find an area to register, but I'm not an administrator :/

Is there something I'm missing? Or is it because it's just not set up, or, well, I'm confused a little.

I just think we should start on the Wiki as soon as possible, and update it when Sc2 comes out to relate it more to Sc2 gameplay.

The wiki has been locked for a while. You happened to look at it while we were showing it to someone, but it was in read-only mode. What were you planning on editing, content or design?

Hey Raiyaz, the wiki is intentionally disabled in these ways - we just made it possible to be viewed for a moment. The wiki is more than just started - the primary reason it may look flat or empty in some areas is because we don't have access to the game - preventing us from getting the right visual media to use in some areas as well as being able to write about anything to do with the metagame, such as what role a unit plays in what match-up or even how it is generally used, as well as race-specific strategies... maps etc.

As far as editing goes, the wiki will never be publicly editable. We may allow certain people editing privileges. If you are interested in working on a specific part, let us know what you have in mind, but generally this suggestions forum is where we want people to post changes or additions.

Let us know what you think! We always like feedback .

How am I always doing something when you guys are editing the site!?!?! It's quite annoying...

/edit1:Since we're this close to branching this subject, could I possibly be able to edit the wiki when the time comes?

It's a possibility, we'd need to know what your ideas are and such - we really don't want the wiki getting morphed into what it isn't meant to be or do, or looking other than we want it - that's why we have these forums to collect feedback and ideas as opposed to letting people run free and turn it into whatever. We wouldn't want that for our main site or any of the other areas for it so there's no special reason to that happen to the wiki

We're open to dedicated editors who we can trust with the wiki, but we need to be 'sold' on that

Edit: P.S. just use editing to avoid double-posting O:

Alright, I'll make my own 'articles' and submit them to you when I have the time. I'll start on the 'micro' and make you trust me

/edit1: And also, what form would you like it in, notebook, word, or notepad and these little forum things.

And sorry about the double-posting. I saw someone looking at this thread and assumed it was you, then I had the idea about the second posting thing, and wanted an answer immediately. It didn't occur to me to just PM you, hehehe, it's 12:45AM here!

/edit2: Fixed double posting thingy, sorry.

I can edit articles. I wouldn't say I would be dedicated because right now most of my time is "dedicated" to school, but in my free time I don't see any reason why not.

Well the lore for everything is completely missing, as well as general uses of the units and counters to that unit. You guys need a lot of help filling all of this information in!
